This gnarly burl was another field find , I was planning on making a vase but wasn't confident it would stay on the lathe while hollowing as some of it was quite punky , so it ended up being quite a cool looking egg ...
I filled the voids with Alumilite Amazing clear cast epoxy resin
and coloured with Jacquard sapphire blue pearl ex powder.
