Great. Another reason we're not in a hurry to visit the land down under...
Not only are there venomous snakes, man-eating crocodiles and evil jellyfish – there’s now fricking mice-eating spiders in Australia (cancels trip).
A video has been circulating showing a ravenous spider in Australia that is so strong, it has no problem carrying a mouse up a fridge for feeding time.
And its name is Hermie the huntsman – that’s right, our worst nightmare has a name (great).
Jason Wormal, a tradesman from Coppabella in Queensland, was heading out to work in the early hours when a neighbour called him.
On Facebook, he wrote: ‘So I am just about to leave for work about 0030 and me neighbour says ‘You want to see something cool’ and I say ‘Hell yeah’.
‘So we proceed to his place and he shows me this. Huntsman trying to eat a mouse.’
In a later post, Wormal reassured everyone the spider is still alive and well (good to know… not!).
