It sounds like a cat. And did it just yawn around the 5:15 mark??... 

On this episode of Breaking Trail, Coyote finally catches the Frog that has eluded him for years, the enormous Smokey Jungle Frog!
In addition to being the largest frog species in Latin America these forest dwelling amphibians are also well known for their shrill alarm calls. Once captured by a predator these giants immediately begin to belt out high pitch alarm screams in an effort to startle their attacker just long enough to escape.
Will Coyote be able to hold onto this giant screaming frog?

3000 BEES ATTACK MY FACE! (+ Is KILLER BEE Honey Dangerous?!)

Coyote attempts to show that Honey Bees aren’t just out to sting you…that is until his “Bee Beard” experiment completely backfires when he is attacked and stung in the face by a swarm of over 3000 angry Bees!

Now this was completely NOT supposed to happen, however for some reason or another “sting pheromone" was somehow introduced to the colony and caused a rapid sting chain reaction.

Luckily Coyote survived this experiment with no life-threatening allergic reactions…however the state of his physical appearance was - well you’re just going to have to see for yourself because Coyote became nearly unrecognizable within minutes due to severe localized swelling.

Trust us when we say this video gives a whole new meaning to the term “Coyote Ugly”!

His name is B-Rad and he is a rescue animal at Kids Saving the Rainforest in Quepos, Costa Rica. Fortunately for him he was found after being abandoned and brought to the sanctuary for rehabilitation and eventual release back into the wild.

STUNG by a TARANTULA HAWK!

These enormous spider wasps are most notorious for their macabre breeding habits but are also becoming well known for their ranking on the insect sting pain index. Only trailing in behind the bullet ant in terms of “sting pain” Coyote felt it necessary to experience this fear inducing sting before taking on the highly anticipated bullet ant challenge.

IT'S HUGE! Giant Black Slug!

Now that's definitely one big slug! Can't believe there are tons more - found in the USA!...

On this episode of Beyond the Tide, Coyote sets off on an another aquatic adventure with Tide Pool expert Aron Sanchez in search of some monster sized Slugs! ...seriously, these giant black slugs are HUGE!!

Weighing up to 30lbs the Black Sea Hare is the largest slug in the world and is found in abundance along the Pacific Coast of the United States.

Aptly named Sea Hare due to their rabbit ear looking appendages, these creatures are truly a primordial wonder of the ocean. Who would have ever thought a Sea Slug could grow to the size of a small dog!?
