Pepsi pulled their ad Wednesday starring Kendall Jenner after it immediately sparked controversy.
The company released this statement: "Pepsi was trying to project a global message of unity, peace and understanding. Clearly we missed the mark, and we apologize. We did not intend to make light of any serious issue. We are removing the content and halting any further rollout. We also apologize for putting Kendall Jenner in this position."
This isn't Pepsi's first ad controversy. In 2013 the company pulled an ad accused of racism and normalizing violence against women.

Fragile Zoe Lush has a rare condition which means her bones are so delicate they ‘break in the wind’. Zoe broke several bones whilst she was still in the womb, shattered her collarbone during birth and broke another 100 bones before her first birthday. Now Zoe, who is six-years-old, has broken almost every bone in her body and was almost internally decapitated after bones in her neck began to wear away. Zoe lives with her mum Chelsea Lush, dad, Curtis Lush, and three year old brother Felix, in Huntington Beach, California.
