Donald Trump's refugee ban, explained

"Americans are more likely to be killed by their own clothes than by an immigrant terrorist." ...

It's not a "muslim ban," but it's close.

On Friday, President Donald Trump overhauled US refugee policy — laying the groundwork for a fundamental shift in how the US allows people to enter the country.

Trump signed an executive order Friday afternoon that bans all immigrants and visa holders from seven majority-Muslim countries from entering the US for 90 days, and opens the door to more country-based bans in future.

FedEx Driver Guides Big Rig Down Icy California Mountain Road After Brakes Lock on Trailer

This here folks, is what you call a 'controlled slide'.
(We learn something new every day). The video has gone viral with over 29M views on Facebook. Loved the officer's response at the end...
FLORISTON, Calif., Jan. 13 (UPI) -- The California Highway Patrol shared a video of a big rig driver gliding his truck down an icy mountain road after the brakes in his rear trailer locked up.
The CHP's station in Truckee posted a video to Facebook showing the FedEx truck sliding down Interstate 80, near Floriston, while being escorted by troopers who ensured the road ahead would be clear.
"The driver had jackknifed at the top of the grade," the Facebook post said. "When the driver had lost it at the top of the hill, he had broke the air lines to his rear trailer. This caused the brakes on the rear trailer to lock up. We arrived on scene and were informed the tow was going to be extended. So we asked the driver if he could get himself going and we would give him space to get down to the next open shoulder on the Interstate." - upi

CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Utah Toddler Saves Twin Brother Pinned Down By Fallen Dresser (2 Videos)

A scary moment caught on a nanny cam when an eight-drawer dresser tipped over on a toddler...

Fast Fact: According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, from 2013 to 2015, an estimated 33,100 people were treated annually in hospital emergency rooms for injuries involving appliances and furniture. More than half — 52 percent — involved children under the age of 18. And in 61 percent of the cases, the injuries were caused by furniture falling or tipping over.

In June 2015, the agency launched “Anchor It,” a public education campaign to prevent such accidents from killing or seriously injuring children.

Last summer, Ikea, the largest furniture retailer in the world, recalled 29 million dressers following the deaths of three toddlers. In all incidents, a piece of Ikea furniture had tipped over them.

Prankster Changes Famous 'HOLLYWOOD' Sign to 'HOLLYWEED' (+ Some Hollywood Sign FACTS! + Videos)

This must have taken some time - or so we thought. But if you look closely, you can see it was some mere cloth-coverings all in the right places that changed the two 'O's to 'E's. Ingenious! Many see this as a good sign and have posted their reactions on social media.
This wasn't the first time the sign was changed to 'HollyWEED' either.
Back on Jan. 1, 1976, the same day California’s relaxed marijuana law took effect. Cal State Northridge student Danny Finegood had a plan to alter the sign by using $50 of curtains and a couple friends. And it worked, giving Hollywood a Hollyweed sign for a short time. Check out some more interesting Hollywood Sign facts at the end!...
