First U.S.-Havana Commercial Flight in 55 Years Departs Miami

Let's hope it lasts...

The first regularly scheduled commercial flight between the U.S. and Havana in more than half a century arrived Monday morning at Cuba’s Jose Marti International Airport, just three days after the death of Fidel Castro.

'But the wheels didn't even hit the ground before the warming ties initiated by President Barack Obama were thrown into doubt by President-elect Donald Trump, who has tweeted that he might "terminate" the detente. The travel industry, among others, hopes otherwise.' - ctvnews
