Very fascinating to learn how California officials are trying to conserve water using black plastic 'shade' balls. These balls are used to cut down on water evaporation from the Los Angeles reservoirs just by floating atop of the water. Each ball cost .36cents - total cost said to be around $34M!!...

OMG. Those Belgian Blue Cattles Though…


Here's a bull we don't see every day in these parts, the big butt or 'dikbil' bulls as the Dutch and Belgians like to call them. We’ve heard about them before and have even seen photos, but we’ve never seen one live like this 'live'.

It's amazing how they carry all that weight. Very interesting, this breed. These bulls are the results of 100 years of natural breeding...

Belgian Blue cattle are a species renowned for their rippling muscles. It’s not surprising, then, that these bovine behemoths are also known by another name: “super cows.” Indeed, just by looking at them, it’s easy to see why: they’re huge.
